She had already delivered a great performance as Stefano in Gounod’s Romeo and Julia last year (published on CD by RTVE Música). This night she showed a remarkable evolution in her expressiveness as well as interpreting talent. Her voice powerful and timbered, dense and dark-hued and with great personality. The audience applauded her ecstatically, even more than the protagonist. Roles like this have undoubtedly become too small for her vocal abilities. […]
